Personal Interests
Dr. Castillo and Dr. Moreno are parents to three children, ages 14, 7, and 2. Together they enjoy staying active by going for jogs, family bike riding, and hiking. Having weekly family movie nights on the weekend is also fun.
Biography
Dr. Adriana Castillo was born in Fort Worth, TX, but raised in the Rio Grande Valley. She earned her bachelor of science degree in Biology with a double minor in Chemistry and Spanish from the University of Texas Pan-American (now University of Texas Rio Grande Valley-UTRGV). Dr. Castillo pursued her calling in medicine two years after teaching high school chemistry. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Houston Methodist Hospital in 2017. She previously practiced in a large group setting focusing on Geriatric medicine. She went on to earn her wound care certification in February 2020. Dr. Castillo has a passion for geriatrics, women’s health, and in-house procedures.
